Customer support reaction and my review of Host Color’ services
I have been very pleased with Hostcolor.com as my web host and domain name facilitator. I transferred my business to Hostcolor.com several years ago from another web hosting company with which I was dissatisfied, and I am happy to have chosen Hostcolor.com
One issue I would like Hostcolor.com to deal with is the amount of spam I get with my email from my rjdionne.com account. I realize that spam is generated by robots that crawl through every web host accounts. Hostcolor seems not to have a spam blocker or anti-robot firewall. I deal with the situation by having all of my email routed through a Yahoo! account so that the Yahoo! anti-spam detectors identify the spam. 99.5% of the spam detected is addressed to my rjdionne.com account.
If Hostcolor.com could do something about spam, I would very much appreciate it.
Reply from Host Color representative:
Hello,
Please excuse us for the inconvenience caused. We are working on that
issue from a while and the problem with the spam will be resolved pretty
soon. I noticed that you have catch all function enabled for your email
and that is one reason to get more spam as usual. Also I enabled your
spam filter and set it to 5, so you should get less spam from now on. If
you have further questions please feel free to ask. Our team would be
glad to help you.

My reply
I was not only pleasantly surprised but astonished that my HC Review was read immediately and to which a reply was written and action taken. I get so little prompt, competent, and personal service these days.
I had not realized that my account’s email settings were part of the problem.
Thank you, Peter, for changing the settings for me.
